About Us

Nandita Priya Seva Sansthan

Nandita Priya Seva Sansthan is a voluntary organisation based in Siwan district, Bihar, working towards a healthier, brighter and self-reliant society. The Sansthan was formed to give the families of this district a permanent, organised answer to the problems seen every day around them — addiction, poor health awareness, and households struggling for a steady livelihood.

Our work is centred on de-addiction and rehabilitation, health awareness, vocational training, and the wellbeing of women and children in the villages around Siwan.

Our largest project

Vikas Nasha Mukti Evam Punarvas Kendra is the Sansthan's de-addiction and rehabilitation centre at Bindusar Buzurg, Siwan. It offers treatment, individual and group counselling, family counselling, yoga and meditation, recreation and vocational guidance — with follow-up that continues after a resident goes home.

How we work

  • Every family that approaches us is heard first, without judgement
  • Treatment and counselling are planned for the individual, not applied as one fixed formula
  • The family is treated as part of the recovery, not as a visitor
  • Progress is reviewed regularly and recorded for every resident
  • Contact continues after discharge through follow-up calls and review visits

What We Stand For

Dignity First

A person struggling with addiction is a patient, not a culprit. Everyone who walks through our gate is treated with respect from the first minute.

Family Included

Addiction affects the whole household, so counselling covers the family as well — wives, parents and children are part of the process.

Confidentiality

What a resident and their family share with our counsellors stays inside the centre. Records are kept, but they are not shared casually.

Life After Treatment

Recovery is not finished on discharge day. Skill training and follow-up help a person rebuild income, routine and confidence at home.
